    I thought I would post this up...Its old to some but useful info fer anyone that dont know..someone showed me and I cant rember whio crs(LOL).you can goto riverguages.com and keep track of water levels temps.........on alot the main riveres/resaviores etc...I am finding it nice cause I can watch other areas I plan to visit....and I watch it here at home too ....thought some you might find it useful too ....&.... we'd pass er on:cool2:

    Another great resource for river levels is http://www.americanwhitewater.org/.

    I like their simple color-coding, which is great for mentally challenged folk like me! :roll_eyes:

    I use a few of these also... But I know alot of guys out there wouldnt think of it...

    Ok if I goto the Rock Island district-Missipi rivers & Passes scroll downt to loc 19 it has three guages-use the second one it will popp water temps-changes etc ..I dont know what Loc or ares you want to look at but it should be on there somewhere ....

    Ron, watch out about the given links. http://www.americanwhitewater.org/ that I referred to probably does not provide water temperatures, only gauge levels, history, along with descriptions, photos, and other items of interests for each river (down to some fairly small ones!).

    I suppose die-hard river-runners could care less about the temperature, just whether or not the river is running at a level worth the trip to BOOF! :wink:
