That's what I was thinkin...holy s%#$ can J.J. have anymore luck with these rainouts? Has Hendrick finally financed and developed a weather controlling device..?? :smile2:lol Don't matter if he's good or sucks each week , it puts him out in clean air long enough to adjust the car and be great. Never gets in the "mess of cars" to get him in trouble....

I'll take Dale Jr this week......

I was thinkin, if qualifying was rained out that a totally random system of picking the lineup would be great!!!! By the points just keeps giving an advantage to the points leader.....jmo

The trophy has already been engraved, and has been since the chase started. These last 4 races are just a formality to put fans in the stands. Yeah,I know you're going to say well the tickets are already sold, but just think of all of the money still to be made off of concessions and souvenirs. This chase is a big joke and always will be as far as I'm concerned. If you're going to have a true playoff, you don't let all of the other teams participate in the final 10 races. If it's going to be a true playoff, only the teams in the playoff participate in the playoffs. There is absolutely no reason why they couldn't have qualifying tomorrow for the 12 teams in the playoff and line those 12 up and let them go at it. How many times during this chase format have we seen cars that aren't in the chase cause trouble for the chase participants. Let's just put the cars that are in the chase on the track and let them go at it,and see who the true champion is after the 10 races.JMO
BTW,I'll take Jeff Gordon, but I don't really care who wins as long as it's not Jimmy!

i agree mike. they should invert drivers in the top 10 on rain outs. 1st starts 10th and tenth starts first.

or since the pole is being handed to ya then the pit positions on pit road are reversed. 43rd get the first stall 1st gets last and so on.

this has almost sealed the deal with the rain outs.

could be a record year. gordon has 4 races to seal a win or break a streak from 1994.:eek:oooh:

I will be going with the #99 this week. As long as Jimmy don't take it again. I am getting tired of hearing Jimmy this and Jimmy that. It seems like he has all the luck in the world right now.

Looks like Carl took it today. Congrats to him and all that picked him. Johnson made a run for it but couldn't get it. Luck might of been there when it came to qualifing, or not, but it seemed to have left him at the end of the race.
