On my first visit to monticello I never went any farther away from the ramp than the little islands between the ramp and the reactor. We sat on the points and humps and fished deep water and the sides of the points. I was quite satisified with the catch, if we had known about the "Wild Hog" sooner no telling how many fish we could have caught.
Don't know the guys name that was camping at the ramp but I sure thank him for the info on Hog wild, also before we were using the circle hooks and were not fishing them correctly. Many thanks to all members that tell how to fish these hooks, next trip sometime in June should be better. We kept cut bait on some rods just in case a big fish wandered by but we were after good eating size fish.
