    I have caught a few on worms in flod water.

    I've only seen one caught in these parts. There were a couple of guys snagging close to the dam - a little too close to be legal, actually - and one of them snagged a silver carp. Since they're plankton eaters, like our shad, you can't usually catch them with lures or bait. The guys who snagged the fish were from India, and took the carp and a buffalo home for dinner :0a30:

    i think snagging would be your best bet
