I need some help finding good photos of the asian carp species. I didn't have much luck on google, just too many sites to look through and not all had good pics. I caught something in my castnet while trying for shad last week and I think it might be an asian carp of some kind. If it was then they have made it into the heart of Ohio, I caught it in the muskingum river. They were'nt supposed to make it here for a couple more years.

Mr T, thanks. The silver carp was what I caught. It was about 12 inches long. Never caught anything like it before in my net and I've caught just about everything that swims in that river. I was thinking that was what it was because it was a bright silver, just had'nt seen one before. Now I gotta find out if the ODNR guys caught any that day because they were out shocking fish in that area the same day but left just before I got there. Again thanks for the links.
