    Welcome to the BOC.

There are probably 20 threads in this forum alone discussing asian carp. Poke around for a while and let us know if you have specific questions that are unanswered.

("This forum" was the Missouri Rivers forum when I posted, but the thread was moved between the time I started typing and the time I hit the submit button....)

Regular carp, buffalo, suckers all make good cut bait fresher the better. no reason the asian won't work their oiley and bloody, some have said they work,
better in hot weather ought to be at their peak now.
    Thanks for signing on.

    Welcome to the BOC Joe.
Like Jim said all carp make very good bait. I like to fillet them and use 1 or 2 inch wide by 6 to 8 inch long strips. Caught my 59# blue this year on carp fillet. Good luck out there.....
