Has anyone ever tried this ingredient in their home made baits? From what I have read this is an old timer's catfishing secret. Is this true?

Description: a pale yellow or orange yellow colored liquid with a sharp alliaceous, almost obnoxious and acrid odor.

Smell: sulfureous alliaceous savory green onion vegetable

Other names: "Stinking Gum", "Devil's Dung", "Food of the Gods"

Meaning: Protection, Exorcism, Purification....An appropriately named, legendary magickal herb. Asafoetida is one of the most potent ingredients to destroy negetivity. It is said to destroy psychic attacks, curses, hexes, jinxes, and nasty spirits cannot stand the stuff.(Neither can most it is usally a last resort!)
