I've got a vintage Lew's speed spool from the early 70s. I acquired it a couple of weeks ago and have no need for it. As a colletable it's worth 50-100 bucks, it's in very good condition. Here's the deal...it's free to the first BOC member that PMs me with shipping info., the only thing I ask is that you collect it or use it.....don't sell it, I could do that.

    COOL!

I have a hardcover antique fishing reels book in the guest bedroom as part of the decor. That would look nice setting on top of it!

    SWEET!!!

    Thanks a MILLION!

    REPS!!!!

I'll meet you for a coffee or a fishing trip or wherever some time. No hurry!

That is the earlier model , they are great reels and still sought after by fishermen and collectors.Great reel that was ahead of its time.

Well guys, skipeye just came and picked up the reel, I'm glad it's going to a good home. Your right about the reel being ahead of it's time..I would say that it was the forerunner of most modern baitcasters.
