We have alot of success throwing spoons for blues below the lock and dam on the Red River. Is this being done all over?

I have heard of blues being caught on spoons, exactly what type of spoons are you using?

Have never heard of it in my area, some people catch flats on artifical grubs and stuff but never heard of spoons for blues. What do you use, where and how? I would be interested in hearing more of this approach towards blues and the success that you have had using them.

We make our own from Do-it molds. I use 1,2and3 oz. When the water is right the blues stack up and or on or near the surface. The largest one I have seen caught (not by me) was 72lb. My personal best was a 43lb. flathead. I'll try to get some pics of the spoons and post tomorrow.
