    More on my writing on "the psychology of fishing";

    1) Are you superstitious when it comes to fishing, and if so, about what?

    2) Are there things that you will not do because you think it is "bad luck" or will "jinx" you?

    I posted another question in the SC thread:

    http://www.catfish1.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1758883#post1758883

    Thanks!

    I've gotta have on my Ford 300 Michigan hat and little sleep. If neither happens my luck is done for.

    I usually don't fish very hard when the wind is out of the NE, E, or SE. The bite is never very good. I spend that time catching bait.

    They are things i won't do,, I won't treat any body bad, I won't cheat in a tourny. I won't do anybody wrong,, I feel like if i do something wrong it will come back to me twice as worse.. Besides that i just fish my heart out and learn from my mistakes...

    I leave my landing net stored away until I see the fish next to the boat. For some reason if I get the net ready before I see the fish then it seems to just "come off the hook" even when there is two of us in the boat it always happens.

  8. Cooler weather fishing for me, there is a lot of times the clickers get toyed with and played with by the fish, and as soon as you even think about touching that rod or grabbing it, that sucker reads your mind and stops, that really is getting to me, haha.:confused2:

    on the way to the lake, me and my catfish buddy always rock out really hard to Warren Zevon "Lawyers, Guns, and Money"...sang of course to the tune of "Flatheads, Blues, And Channels." We had it stuck in our heads and were singing it the first time we caught a monster flathead, haha, so now we feel obligated to listen to it everytime. I guess its our catfishing theme song or something

    It's good luck for me to forget the camera, but it doesn't work if I leave it at home on purpose....has to be an accident.

    Gotta have my hat, gotta have a pair of every rod and reel (down to the sinker size, line weight and brand...I know, I know:wink::smile2::smile2:). Also almost always do well when I forget the big scale or camera!

    No bananas on the boat! Also like Wes rods and reels have to be in pairs and paired up in the rod holders as well.
