I've fished north east texas and theres definitely blues there. I'm sure some waterhole has em, check the texas parks and wildlife website for the stocking status of lakes in your area.
    heres the link... http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/fishboat/fish/recreational/lakes/

From what I've read so far, Lake Wichita hasn't been stocked with blues. Lake Arrowhead definitely has blues as well as Buffalo Creek Reservoir. If these lakes have them then creeks and rivers in your area probably do too. I hope I helped.

Im not familar with your exact area, but The DFW area is full of them. Ray Roberts, Lewisville, Grapevine, Tawakoni, Possum Kingdom, Texoma to name a few. Ive caught bluecats out of all these lakes.

Didn't a few records come out of Texoma?

Btw: Texoma is part of the Red River system, so that river should have them too.

    Cleve,
Arrowhead, Kickapoo, and just 30 miles north Waurika.
Texoma is just 120 miles east with more Blues than you will ever catch!!

Yes the previous world record blue cat Splash, weighing in at 121.5 was caught from Texoma. Held the spot for around a year then was beat by the 124#.
