The cats are biting really good near Cedar Creek Dam area. That is the Dam that feeds Lake Wateree. They are some big ones biting near the second island down stream from the Dam. we have caught some 15+ lbers there on cut gizzard shad. I wish you luck.

With the heat that's on us now its gonna be tough anywhere you fish, even if the fish are biting halfway good.

Went to Lake Wateree this past Saturday morning, put the boat in at Wateree Creek access. We fished the mouth of Wateree creek and up into Cedar creek without much luck, I was able to hang a few small blues drifting off the channel in cedar creek using cut bluegill. I seen alot of boats having better luck so I am guessing they were using shad or knew something I didn't.

I don't think I am doing something right.
