Went out last Monday and a friend of mine caught a 28lb flathead out of Big Bone. Besides that one nice one, it was a lot of the little guys. Ive been doing pretty well at a small local lake called Bullock Pen. (Crittenden/Verona, Kentucky) Ive caught several 15lbs and a 20lb. Pretty good for a local lake.

    Not kidding.

I've caufgt one nice flat in week and a half trotlining. Murdered several bluegills needlessly. Caught 4-5 decent channels. Elderberries are blooming. Methinks things might change soon if we don't get back into flood stage.......

Thing about spiders is you never know where they are hiding. Good luck with the bite. I work with a guy that is healthy and it took weeks to clear up a bite. In your case you may want to see a wound care specialist or you diabetic doctor.
