Anyone ever tried that paste that comes in a tube?you buy this plastic,or looks like plastic anyway, it has a hook at the bottom and you squrt the paste inside the lure? They are not the worms or tubs like you would use for dip baits.Anyone know what im talking about?

I tried some paste before but not with a lure.
I just put a ring of it on my doughballs to make them have a little strong scent.

I works real good for channels under 5 pounds.

I tried them quite awhile ago and had no luck.. Now I think if you were to use Sonny's or something good it might work. jmo

The ONLY time doughbaits etc have EVER worked for us are in current in the canal at Santee, other than that, you're wasting your time

I tried it years ago, and caught nothing..Natural baits are the way to go.

You'd be better off fishing with a dip bait like Wicked Sticky or Jo Jo's Pole Snatcher from Cattracker or with a punch bait like Danny King's or Sure Shot. God bless.
