I thought they wold be nice for their complete adjustability for fishing off the back of the boat in current, just wondered if anyone had tried them

I went ahead and bought them, so I figured I'd post my results. I got 2 sets for the back of my boat and mounted them across the rear seat. I have a mud motor, so the rear bench is not used anyway due to the length of the tiller handle. So far I like them really well. I got one set of the 119 model and the other is a 119D. The 119D is the heavy duty version and it has a much greater surface area to hold, I would definitely get this model again if I buy more. The others seem to work fine too, but I see no disadvantage to the bigger ones, and they hold tighter. The adjustability is great, they can be at any angle or completely out of your way. You can also carry your rods back there running between spots which eliminates sinkers clanging on your boat. All in all I'd rate the 119 a 7 and the 119D a 10.
