We have had more than our fair share the last couple of days and more on the way.
I have only seen it this bad here one other time and that was in 97 when we had the flood here. My driveway was under 3' of water and the road leading to the farm shop where I work was 4' in places. I took some pics so you could get a visual on the depth of our delima, LOL!!!

At 1400, we had had 5" since midnight. Has been more since last check. Sure glad my drain plugs were out of the boat.

Gees, JW, you and Eric weren't kidding when you said you'd gotten some RAIN. How is it at Stoney's place? Any better there? I hope the flood subsides for you soon, buddy, so that you can resume your normal activities. :eek:oooh:

Geeze JW. Gonna have to convert to rice if you can keep that water around long enough. I watched the news tonight. Showed lots of areas in Kentucky that got flooded. Mostly Louisville. Just grateful it was this weekend instead of last. We'd had a mess at Kenlake.

We will take the excess here JW...we are still 15-17 inches behind on rain...most of it stayed south of us yesterday and last night. Have you considered planting rice?:tounge_out: ..LOL

I cant show these pic's to my Son. He loves mud. Everyday he came home covered in it, even in dry spells. LMAO. In his growing up days, one Christmas we gave him a jar of mud. "Something he didnt need but never gets enough of" was what we wrote on jar.

We need rain here in East Texas , bad and tonigh. We got a good one for about an hour.
I hope it aint over. I played in it. LOL.
    Our lakes or down.

Anyway, I hope all who had storms , nothing bad happen.

I love a good storm but i dont care for damage that sometimes happens.

WE got a totol of 1/2inch out of what went through here yesterday.Enough to make the grass grow but thats about it. You all be careful down there in all that water. Don't be comin down sick or nothin. Watch for the snakes.
