anyone know a good spot to catch yellow bellys near columbus?

    Welcome to the BOC Kris, I would PM you but since its generic post and you dont have 10 posts yet I dont think you would be able to read it yet.

    I would say Buckeye Lake would be a good spot. Now if your looking in the Columbus area i.e. within 270 hmmmmmmm Big Walnut Creek has a bunch

    Alum Creek and Madison Lake also have lots of Bullheads. Put about 3 or 4 nightcrawlers on the hook.

    Welcome to the BOC! I would say that if anyone has a good spot they are gonna keep it under wraps. But you might get pointed in the right direction here. I have heard of them being caught in the old Erie canal.

    Try some some slack water or mud bottom areas in creeks or rivers.

    Or.....I hate to say this because its not necessarily a good thing, but you can find them in the dirtiest,trash filled polluted area you can find:eek:oooh:
