anyone hear about the octopus in the Ohio River?

    i heard today that an octapuse was found in the ohio river . whats up with that ??? any truth

    There were a couple of post about that. I remember it to be a true story. You are refering to about 2 months ago? Correct.

    It wasn't really from the ohio. A fisherman caught it, but it was placed there by some college students that bought it from a seafood place to film a video for one of their classes. They were going to really eat it, but it went bad in the sun, so they decided to throw it in the river instead. They didn't even get littering fines or anything out of it. Thats what I seen about it on the News.

    damn never heard of octopus in the rivers....but I do know for a fact that tiger sharks will get deep into fresh water.....do a search on that guys...will be surprised. I was watchin a discovery special on that....guy was swimming in a river and whamo....tiger took him out. I think that was a fresh water river some place off the mississippi.
