I'm trying to get some information on how a Sea Ark 2072 15 degree hull performs with a jet outboard. I know it's not the optimal hull, I think the 3 degree would be better. But this is not a shallow water issue as it is a large rock destroying props and lower unit issue. The reason for the 15 degree hull is for an easier ride on big rough river swells/waves.

Any help would be much appreciated.

according to Specialty Mfg. Company the only manufacture of jet pumps for outboards (supples pumps to all engine mfgs) the hull should not exceed 10* http://www.outboardjets.com/BoatSelection.htm. look at boats that are designed ground up for outboard jets they WILL work better. My North River has a 12* hull but it was designed for a jet, as you can tell it has a very different bottom http://www.catfish1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84066&page=2. ya mite look at other brands of boats to fit your needs but i guess around here anymore everyone has got to have a SeaArk:confused2:
