ANYONE GOT ANY GOOD PHEASENT RECIPIES

    went pheasant hunting with my brother n law yesterday and today we got 3 birds anyone got any good reciepes havnt had pheasant since i was a kid and mom always cooked them but dont remember how she did it

    I have only had it once and the guy cut the breast into pieces about 2" and wrapped a strip of bacon around it, then grilled it. It was OK, but I think he over cooked it. It was a little dry even with the bacon.

    I inject mine with creole butter just like i do my turkey....keep a meat thermometer handy and you cant over cook it, congrats and good luck

    Keith, I don't know about pheasant as I haven't killed one since back in the 60's. But when I kill grouse my wife mixes up a stuffing with wild rice & mushroom and stuffs them and bakes them like a chicken. yum yum ,Should work with pheasant too.

    well i had my bird for sunday dinner baked it like chicken man was it good now i need to go kill some birds thanks guys for the suggestions
