anyone fishing the ohio near louisville?

    been wanting to get out and do some fishing lately. i usually fish the falls of the ohio, but the water is too high. anyone know of any good bank fishing spots that might produce right now within 40 miles or so of louisville? any help would be appreciated. i need to fish soon!!!!! gonna go crazy!!!!:embarassed:

    I don't fish that way but have you thought about Taylorsville ? It has some blues in it and from what I've read on posts so far blues don't shut down in the winter .

    If the water is up over the boat ramps. Try fishing the lawn areas that are now underwater. You will need lots of weights as the river that high moves fast.:cool2:

    is it fishable at the falls right now? last time i went down there the water was too high to access any thing. do the fish bite when it is like that?

    I've tryied it before the water got too high with no luck! I like to fish the ohio when the water is down.
