i think i might start fishing again i havent much felt like it after my fishing buddy of 13 years (lisa dog) died out on that lake but i think its time to head back out there, anyone been trying it out there?

I've gave up on Monticello for a while. My last three trips were nothing but trouble, not which the lake but my boat.

Well it took me a while to figure out about the new site but I finally figured it out.The big blues are biting good 2 weeks ago I had a very good day 31, 35, and 42 lbrs and 8 between 20 and 28 lbs and some small ones definately one of my best days on any lake.Then last weekend only caught 6 23,28, and 38lbrs the other three were small, not as good as the other day but the 28 and 38 lbrs were my little cousins biggest fish so far so they were real excited.Right now they have been in 65 to 90 feet of water and we have been catching some suspended to but the big ones have been coming off the bottom.

Went monday caught 8 15,21,30, and 34lbrs the other 4 was small.The main problem I had was catching the white perch it took 4 hours to catch enough to fish with.I had some herring but the herring want be out there long before little cats start mangling it up then you have to rebait and you end up wasting herring and I aint never found a place that gives herring away.If anybody happens to be there I will be there Fri or Sat if Tammy moves on through before then but I think we're finally going to get some rain from her.Maybe that will turn them on even more.
