I am gonna take a few days off in late July or early August if the rains let the water clear up some.
What lakes are producing right now?
Limestone has treated me really good.
Trading House has zipped me out several times.
I can not get into lake waco cuz of water levels.
I dont know enough about whitney to catch fish there.
Richland Chambers seems to hold good fish but i do not know the lake.

I think you pretty much answered your own question there GMC. Proly stick with Limestone although you might check on the Richland Chambers levels that lake always produces good from what I hear.

I fished RC a few months ago, caught a lot of fish just not much size. If you do go to RC I would suggest the north end or around the island.

if u have a flatbottom, u could set in at iron bridge on th leon river fish around there using limblines. grasshoppers, crickets, minnows, and even worms have been producing real well right now up in th areas where we have water where there are usually campsites. ppl have caught a plethera of fish cats, bass and crappie, just depends on th hook size an how far below th surface u present your bait. otherwise all th boatramps and parks r closed. indefinately.
