I'm going to venture out on Moultrie tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had a recent report. I plan to put in at Short Stay. I am new to the BOC and have really learned alot from the past and present information on this site.

Kevin, these past couple of cold, rainy days will probably slow down the bite a little, but who knows? Water temp has dropped several degrees, so I would start off in deep water 25+ feet and look for baitfish schools with feeders in the area. Sudden drops from shallow to deep would be a good spot to check out. Jump in and share your thoughts with us, too. There's always room for learning....

Kevin, I agree with Tommy. For me the bite has always been slow right after a good day of rain. Good luck.

Kevin welcome to the BOC. Tommy hit the nail on the head. We put in at short stay earlier in the week with no problems. Good luck and send us back a good report.
