I tend to get in a hurry when snagging up and retying rigs.

I have develped a bad habit of forgeting to put my slip sinker on before I tie my swivel and leader.

Must be old age, but I get pissed at myself:big_smile:

How about after getting the rigs all tied up, your trimming the tag ends and relized you just cut the wrong one........:eek:oooh:

Or the famous, Im in a hurry durring a tourny and retie a hook on and then snug it up and the whole thing slips through so you retry again and do it all over again, :embarassed:( Mental note, more twists before inserting rabbit around the tree and back into the hole.....)

I no what you mean, when I fish below the damn and wade I get a lot of snags. So I am standing in the water trying to retie a sinker then hook and do that or drop the sinker in the water. I guess that is why I like bank fishing and fishing off my boat more. Later Scott

    I'm so glad I saw this thread!!:eek:oooh:

I thought I was the only one. I've also done all of the above. Love the missing eye one. I've sent a couple ounces flying before, not realizing I had missed that eye. Couldn't figure out why the cast was short.....and why the retrieve seemed a little funny. When I moved to neon line that tended to make the missing an eye problem go away. Still tie without a sinker and cut the wrong piece of line now and then, though.:roll_eyes:

Oh man! I've done this so many times. Especially with forgetting to put your weight on.

I've also had it where I'd be tying a rig and my buddies pole takes off, my first instinct is run and get the net. Guess what? The weight was in my lap, it's long gone when I get back. Has happened to me so many times.

Not sure how, but I've put the bead on the leader line instead of the weight.

I've never forgot to thread the last eye, but somehow, someway, I have put it in one of the smaller holes instead of the actual guide.
