hey tiny b, my favorite place is at garland city, about 20 miles east of texarkana on hwy 82 by the bridge. it's a fairly new ramp but it's bad about sanding in. there are lots of rock retainment walls up river with good current. shad are fairly easy to find. also on hwy 71 south at doddridge but the river is tricky with lots of shallow sandbars to get through. shad base is good here too.
