Joe there were some being caught about three weeks ago. I was over there all week and tried once and didn't catch any. Are you going to the nick or chick to fish.

"I had to go to south pittsburg today. Stopped by nickajack tail waters. millions of gar but no skipies or shad. After a half hour without a hit I decided to go to chickamauga dam to try my luck. When I got there every flood gate was open and there was no bait. gentleman fishing there said the gates had only been open about an hour and the skipies were plentiful till the gates opened. I may have to use bream and chicken breast this year."​
