Any one use the Bass Pro line called Excel

    or something pretty close to that. I have used it for several years and get along fine with it but never see it mentioned here.

    I use it and it seems to be a great line. Looks great at night with a blacklight as well.

    I use the Bass Pro Excel on a lot of my reels. It is very good line for the price. I bought a number of spools in various # test for $5.99 a spool a few years ago.

    Excel is ok when it is new it just won't last like the higher priced lines. If you don't mind changing line often it will do. I have several friends that love it.
    I do believe that if you fish hard and often you would be money in the bank using a higher quality line like P-Line.

    I got a box of Excel 25# test, 900 yds on sale for $6. I fill one of my heavier reels with it. It is very strong and hard to break of when I snag.
    I like it, but have to change it often because it has a lot of memory and starts coiling up after a while.
