Any One Catching Cats in East Texas Now That its Coolin Off

    Hello All,
    Is Anyone Catching Any thing in East Texas Now that the weather is cooling down. If so where are you Fishin and What are you all using for bait.
    I found that the brim cut up seem to be catching some.

    Marc,
    I've been doing pretty good on Lewisville. Not sure if you consider it East Texas or not. Catching a ton of eating size channel cats along points and ledges on Danny King's punch bait. Soured grain and range cubes get the biting and keep them in the area. Limits or near limits have been common.

    Tawakoni seems to be producing more bigger blues 2-5 per trip in the plus 20# range. more channels than I can count

    Did Ok at Conroe this morning with Mr Wiskers:big_smile:

    I did good on Lake Livingston this weekend. Caught about 20 on jugs up to 5lbs. Best bait was cut up beef heart. good luck.

    i did OK on lake waco on sunday. Only caught 4 fish, 1 channel that was not quite a pound, 2 blues a that were 3 lbs, and one big 24lb blue. All were caught drifiting with shad except that big boy, he was caught on cut buffalo.
