Anybody ever catch any catfish out of Cadron Creek around Conway?

I'm wondering if it would be a good place to fish for flatheads when things warm up.

    Any input is appreciated.

I got some buddies in Greenbriar that catch some nice flatheads out of Cadron. It's pretty but i never fished it.

We need a good flathead fishing hole.

You don't want a big boat & motor for this. Go down hwy 7 till you cross Petit Jean Creek. Just after you cross over the bridge, you'll be able to pull off the road on the right side and back down to the creek to launch. You may need 4WD for this; I haven't been by there is several years, so I don't know what condition it's in. Start fishing at the big bank on the outside bend of the creek just above where you put in, and work your way upstream, fishing the good looking spots. Lots of flatties been caught out of there.
Don't go downstream unless you're willing to get out and drag your boat back up through the shallows right below where you launch.

    No

Where they run into the ARK river,

    Cadron is close to Conway

Petit Jean is close to Morrilton
