i was wandering if anyone is having any luck with the cats yet?I have been several times and have offered 5 different kinds of bait without a nibble. If your catching cats what are folks using to catch them?should i go to cut bait exclusively this time of year? thanks for the help.

Iv'e been several times in the past two weeks and only caught one decent channel on cut bait. I have had numerous bites though. I'm not sure what was on the other end of those bites, though. I haven't had a catfish just hook himself though in several years! Must not be holding my mouth right!

We've been catching lots of cats in this area, been using frozen skips and fresh caught shad. Been catching fish from 2 to 35 ft.

I have been a few times and not had any luck yet. Hope to try it again this weekend either on Barren River or below lock 5 on Green.

Cut skipjack and Chicken livers are working well for Channels on Lake Barkley right now.
