good catfish lakes or ponds near parker?
Welcome to the BOC Bob. Can't help you. A little far from home. Someone will be along soon.
Bob, Cherry Creek reservoir and Chatfield reservoir are both somewhat close to Parker, but they are not catfish hotspots (or ever warmspots for that matter). Unfortunately, I believe that the best catfishing in CO is in the Colorado River on the Western Slope.
depending on how far you want to go theres a few from longmont to loveland
Chatfield has some very very good catfishing. There are channels pulled out of there over 20 pounds every year.
heres a guide book online that helps me out quite a bit.
LOOKIN TO TRY NEW SET UPS AND BAITS IT WILL BE HARD FOR ME TO NOT USE LIVER BUT IM LOOKIN TO UP THE CATCH RATE
Cherry Creek Reservoir has some great channel catfishing. I used to mostly fish the area from the Cottonwood Creek Loop east to the Cherry Creek inlet and would catch fish all night long using nightcrawlers and chicken liver. They averaged around 8 lbs. each.
