Any Body do any FlatHead hunting at NOLIN Lake ?

    Yeah me and my son are going down to Nolin lake for a weekend and spend time with my Granny ...And the catfish :wink: ..... Just seeing if there is any decent spots to go ? Never really fished Nolin lake for Cats ... Any kind of reply would be nice ! :cool2:

    You might try some cut bait in the main river channel for big blues!!! Shad guts will work too.

    Nolin has a good population of flatheads you might try some live gills in some of the bays or major feeder creeks like conollway and rock creek.The channel population is very good at this time of year i would try for them in the upperpart of nolin around the wax or broadford area.Ive never caught any blues in nolin nor have I seen any caught.     The picture of the one im holding came from nolin so yeah they are in there. Try any of the upper lake cutbacks.
