I was wondering if anyone has ever seen or heard of big cats being pulled out of lake grapevine. Also are there any recommendations for good areas as far as shore fishing goes?

    Thanks,
    Eric

There are big cats there are there were. We used to fish at a barge there and they had cats up to 70 lbs hanging up there often. I can't recall the location of the barge it was to long ago in the late 70's, In 2000 a friend of mine caught a 36 lber off of the peach st access area in grapvine.

There are some nice cats in the vine. I have seen 35 - 40lbs blues caught but have heard of larger being landed. The bubbles at the dam is always a good spot. The timber up by Twin Coves and the timber up by Denton Creek are always good spots this time of year.
