nice turtle there brother
Very cool :cool2: Did ya keep him? I hear turtle soup is pretty tasty :tounge_out:
nope let him go
And I thought I was the only one:lol:
Cool turtle! I just love to see them, watch them and stand in awe at the huge ones. They have survived alot on this planet. They should be revered.
The catcher of this one can claim it themselves:
last one was a soft shell but I didn't get a picture of it
I was changing the oil under my truck when this turtle walks up beside me this pastAapril. I have never seen a turtle this small before. I gave it to my Granddaughter. She's feeding it and has given it a terrarium/aquarium.
It is now bigger than the quarter.
Hookman I have only seen one that small before that one. A bird dropped it out of a tree, I guess trying to crack the shell, and i rescued it and put it in another pond. Very cool and congrats to you all
now thats small
it was probabley best that you threw him back. wait till he gets a little older then you can keep him for turtle soup.
Awesome catch! Glad you let him go too. I only keep the big snappers.
I look as turtles as pest when I am trying to catch FISH! I always let them go but equate them to catching one of those pesky skates at the beach where you have to just about straiten your hooks out to get the hook out. Pesky little creatures IMHO.
We have so many turtles in East Texas that I sometines forget to look at what God has given us. Time to thank him for all that he has done
