Me and Mankind hit the Ohio River again same place as last weekend. The bite was on again! The Hogs are still eluding us but we did manage several bigger than last week.
Larry ended up with 5 Flatties from 3-13lbs. His 13lber was a good one, seemed a lot heavier than 13lbs...:confused2::cool2:
I ended up with 5 Flatties from 3-11lbs. I finally busted the 10lb mark on Flats this year.
The 3 Blues I caught were 6,6 & 7lbs. The 7lber somehow got hooked in the belly and I thought it was 20+ lbs bringing him in.:eek:oooh:
Foul hooked + 30' of water + lots of current= one wore out CatfishJohn...:eek:oooh::roll_eyes::wink::smile2:
The lone Channel I caught was a healthy 4lber.

The place we fished I would have never believed 2 weekends in a row we'd boat that many fish. 13 last week & 14 this week...:cool2:
As always all fish were CPR'ed to catch again another day!

"100 years, you look so much younger"

Feels like a freaking hundred years, I have probably forgotten which end the bait goes on!! :smile2:

On the bright side, Yesterday I spoke with a feller who turned me on to a spot that used to produce large flatheads and may not have been fished for Cats in 10 years or so.

Of course, that is just teasing me more.... :tounge_out:
