At this time of year I'm pretty confined at Murvaul, considering I don't have a boat. Just got back and when I had first arrived I got two quick hits. The first I got to the bank and it came off. I think it was a VERY nice bass, but if it was a crappie, it was larger than my pb of 2 years of 17 inches. This miss was then followed by a 12-inch crappie. I didn't get but one bite the rest of the day, which was a 10-inch black bass. In a week I think the bank-fishing should be pretty hot. At least there's been progress in the past few weeks. Anyways, I just thought I'd share.
