    Bad back and all I just had to go fishing:wink:..I made my son pack everything down to the water.

    He caught his personal best flathead of 25-lbs on cut shad, and as always we were using circle hooks.

    Yes it is a good hole, but there is a clown that fishes it trying to stock his private pond, I hate when people do that!

    Dear Brother Jack;
    That is a nice sized fish for your son to catch!:big_smile:
    If you have someone trying to stock a pond, then turn your fish loose at a different hole. OR, if it's a feasible thing to do, offer to stock the fellows pond for him.
    Anyway, CONGRATS to your Son on his PB. I know you will be even prouder for him when he breaks your record. :wink:
    Fraternally,

    Thanks ED, I believe those river fish need to stay in the river, not in a private pond.

    i would let the local wildlife officer know,see if he can keep an eye out.it only takes one time to lose it for a while.i think i would try to go that route,hit him where it hurts,specially nowadays

    Well I paid dearly for my trip, both of legs are on fire, and my wife wont speak to me cause I went fishing with my bad back.

    But it's worth it:smile2:

    Congrats to your son for his new PB,i'm still looking to break my PB. I have the same views as you to river fish should stay river fish! there are alot of guys that fish the river for big flats just to take to a "friends pond"

    Tell your son Congrats from me!!! :wink::cool2::big_smile:
    I'm still aggravated at you that you went, you don't want to end up like me do you? I only say that because I care Jack. It sucks really bad being in that amount of pain also. Talk to your Dr. about what I PM'ed you about in addition to the pain med pills. Its been 12 hours for me and seems to be easing up some, I still am in a lot of pain but its not had enough time to fully take effect yet.

    Just remember that we both have to heal up so we can wet a line together this year!!!!! We may have to take somebody to pack our stuff but we will make it sometime!!!!!:wink::big_smile:

    I had to laugh when I read this because that sounds like something my wife would say. She doesn't think I should move on account of my back.
    Thanks for the story.
