Spent the night at our favorite honey hole last night. Bite wasn't on fire but we still ended up catching 5 cats; 3 garfish; and about 50 bream. We caught all the big fish on cut and live bream. We had 4 blues ranging from 18lbs to 60lbs and one 16lb flathead. All the cats were caught between 11pm and 3am. Started raining about 4am and continued for an hour or so. Overall a long sleepless night but if I have to have something keep me up all night I guess this is as good as it gets.

Who would want to sleep with all that good action!:smile2: I'd like to hear your report when you consider the bite to be good!

It was definately a good night but it was night where we caught almost everything that took the bait. Not a lot of action but when we had it, it was good. The area we fish is one of the best around for big fish and that is really all we try to catch so often times we are going for hours without even getting a nibble. This was one of those nights.

We've been catching some nice fish but the Congaree is loaded with gar. I actually don't mind catching them but about daylight they get really active and will tangle the mess out of your lines.
