Fished for a couple hours last night using bullheads. This is my best flathead to date. I really think this skulking around riverbanks in the dark could become a serious addiction

I was fishing alone last night and actually called my son right after I got the fish landed. I had no way to get a pic. To make matters worse the batteries in my head lamp died and I brought the wrong size replacement. I called my son who was at home. He said he would drive the 10 or so miles and walk n about a half mile to take pics and bring me batteries.
I put the fish on a cheap poly stringer by poking it through her/his bottom lip. I kinda felt bad about that but I don’t think I hurt her.
I literally stood in the water with her until the kid finally showed up, we grabbed some quick pics and away she went.
I raised a dang good kid for sure.

I don't know that skulking around in the dark is addictive but catching fish like that while doing it is what may get you hooked. Nice fish and thanks for posting the picture I enjoyed it.
