My son, father, and I went the Ohio river again last night and done very well. We started fishing around 7:30 pm and by 8:30 Kelly had landed his first flattie of the night(a 17# fish). Then at 10:17 it was bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam. We had 14 lines in the water and six of them had a run all at the same time. It was awesome never seen anything like it. A good thing there was a couple of guys fishing beside us that came over to lend a hand. Kelly finnaly got his on to shore, Dad got a glimpse of his then he spit the hook and swam away.I got mine to within six feet of shore when he turned hard and my line souned like a 22 shot as it snapped. Carl landed one and Brian got one on the bank. Then Kelly lost one. It was great. I never thought i would see a school of flatties on a seek and destroy mission like that. What fun! Before we called it a night, Kelly had caught two more fish a channel, and a another flathead.
Kellys biggest fish weighed 44 lbs
Carls was 41 lbs
Brians was 38 lbs
