As some of you may already know, I fish in a river system & I want to give Drifting for Cats a shot this year, But I do most of my fishing from the bank.

Have a lot of you guys done any drifting from the shore & if so what was the results?

I would like to know if you fan cast your Bait into the current and let it come back to you or is it the other way around?

How swift is the current there?

It not to swift Pete, a lot of the areas on the river have pockets & Eddies you can fish if you don't want to be in the current of the river.
