can you freeze your carp and use it later ,i know it's best to use fresh but i was wondering if i chunked it and put it into baggies with blood and all, if it would keep ok?

Carp will freeze fairly well, just leave the skin on it.

Silver and Bighead carp don't freeze worth a darn. They'll turn to complete mush when they thaw, worse than shad in my experience.

I've froze, and refroze shad with good success in texture, and effectiveness. All ya gotta do is get a vaccuum sealer. It works I swear it, and I bet it would work just as well with any carp.
