I am having a very lucky year to say the least...The fish I caught today weighed 40-lbs and as always was caught on frozen shad, I was using 25-lb test line on a abu 6500 reel, and nite-stik rod, with a circle hook.

Nice catch there. I lost one at the bank of the scioto the other night when the water as high that looked like he could have went 30lbs. Do you mainly go from structure to structure and fish during the day? I have never caught anything out of the scioto on frozen shad by the way.

I fish deep holes during the day, with little structure....I am a bank fisherman so I tend to stay in one spot
