....yesterday Oct. 16th. Me and John got a big one to the boat only to watch it swim away.....this one straightened out a 4/0 treble hook.
We did manage to put a 17 pound blue in the boat along with a few others that were nice size. I will try to get some pics up later. Yes it was a fine day to fish......raining...wind out of the north....temps dropping.....what a day!!!!!

    Sounds like a good day..
I plan on hitting some of the beach river water shed lakes.. Take some fresh skipjack and catch some of the big blues out of them. They have stocked them and you know in the 30 or so years. Those big boys are fat and looking for a meal.

Yeah Red.....the thing about living in this area is, we spend so much time trying to figure out which lake or body of water to fish in......this truely is God's Country!!!!!
I like Brown's Lake out at the park.....we've caught some good ones there.
I went this past Thursday in the pouring rain again and caught four 5 or six pounders.....at Humbolt. That was a rough day though......like to have froze to death by the time I got off the water.
I would be fishin' today but I have a funeral to attend.
