I just got home guys and I am beat....We ended up catching 15 fish and two new PB by myself and my buddy. Mine I would have to guess in the mid to upper 50's and my buddys 25lbs. I dont have a scale that accurate so I measure mine and just compared to others I have seen. I have pictures and will share in the morning....But right now..IM GOING TO BED!!!

Congrats on the big boy. You have got to get to the store for a scale!! :smile2: That would drive me insane not being able to weigh them.

GET A FREAKIN SCALE ALREADY! At least a cheap spring scale or something. The 100lb spring scales at BP or cabelas are only like $20 or so. They are pretty accurate actually, at least when new. Will get you in the ball park at least.

    This one was 56

I wouldn't want to make you upset, but I'd judge him more at around 35-40.
See, this is why you need a scale. LOL

That's about what I'd estimate as well.

    Digital scale. Get one. Now.

BassPro carries several digital scales, including the 100 lb digital scale that Coffey Marketing offers on the BOC. You have to go to the archery section to find it, $59.99 - the other scales are over in the fishing section and few of them go to 100 lbs.

Oh - and that's a nice blue cat, no matter what he weighs...

I always measure my big fish also. There is a formula for calculating estimated weight by using the length. That could help you get in the ball park. I think it's length X length X length divided by 2000.

I am guessing around 35-40 also but you just can't tell from a pic all the time. Rat makes a 50 pounder look like a dink when he holds it.

Just get you a scale and you'll be happier.

They don't always say what you want them to but they are usually pretty accurate!:smile2:

I have no idea how to guess ones weight when the guy is a big guy. Jason is a pretty big boy and he told me that it was 45" long. Eiter way it was a good one and I will bet you anything that Jason has a coffee scale ordered by the end of the day.:smile2:
