Thanks Terry, that was fun to watch. I do believe that Sweet, my oldest male golden retriever would do that if he saw a fish close enough to the bank. Several times when we've been fishin' from a dock and managed to hook one and then lose it, he swam out to the area where it got off lookin' for it, and didn't want to come back. He gets totally nervous and excited when you're reelin' one in - even has a special l'il dance he does :big_smile:.
I think we need to see a video of that dance!
Thanks Terry, neat viedo. I have a white lab that dives for minows. The Illinois River in eastern Okla. is very clear and you can watch the schools of minows go by, and my dog loves to go in head first and try to catch them. Its pretty funny.
that video was pretty cool. afriend of mine has a boxer that goes nuts at the waters edge sticking his head under the water and biting at it.never thought i bet hes trying to catch minnows.loves ridin in the boat.
