For those of you that fish dams and fast currents what type of anchors do you use? Has anyone ever used a drift sock/anchor and how well does it work?

A drift sock is just what it says. It slows u down the more rope out the slower the drift, I have never heard of one stopping you. for fishing dams and fast currents you need some type of a brake away in case you need to move fast and always keep a sharp knife by your anchor rope.
