For sale: New, never used or even inflated AnchorLift brand anchor retrieval system.

This is the 13" model rated for lifting anchors up to 30#

Truth in advertising: These seem like a pretty good system that save considerable wear and tear on your back but after the recent stories of a boats being sunk by one I won't be taking my chances. Lots of guys on here use them and swear by them, but like I said, there have been a few accidents as well.

Call me a wuss.

These run about 55$ new in the store. I'll sell this new unit for 20$ plus actual shipping costs if you need it sent to you (I' think I could squeeze it in the small USPS flat rate priority box which run $4.95)

Much safer in Lakes and I am considering retiring mine after the latest news of yet another sunken boat.

Rather than take that big of a loss why don't you consider keeping it attached to the tag end of your anchor line. Then you can still pitch anchor to chase down a big fish and when you return to the ball you won't have to worry about rope trailing behind because the ball will always be at the bitter end of your anchor rope.

PM sent, waiting for your reply.
Got your PM. This is the float and slide. The float goes to BAM guys. I'll PM you details. Be safe with this please!

@ Skippy: I thought about keeping it for other uses but I already have a float D-ringed to the bitter end of my anchor line. Frankly, I don't have much trouble with my anchor. I think I was just being lazy when I bought this. But all the stories of sunken boats convinced me to just get rid of it.
