I have had alot of problems with anchoring my boat in the past. No matter what I did it would always move. I mostly fish below a dam and between the cross currents and wind my anchors just wouldn't hold. This past weekend was no different we were anchored in the current and the wind started blowing and sure enough the boat started moving. My fishing partner suggested we throw out the drift sock and see if that would stablize us. Low and behold it worked, the drift sock was thrown out back behind the boat in line with the front anchor line. The drift sock reduced the amount of movement by 90%. Hopes this helps somebody else...good luck to all!!
